Often women shake during labour for various reasons. It can happen as a woman is nearing the end of first stage, during transition, while pushing and after baby's birth. Here is a wonderful tip from a practicing doula on how to alleviate this using accupressure...

Put your thumbs together and press into the arch of the foot with the inside palms of your hands. If possible have one person on each foot for better results.
